Microsoft Excel is a tremendously powerful tool and even us accountants don’t use all the functionality it offers. We often do things on it without thinking and here at LeeP we thought we’d share a series of tips with you to make your life simpler if you use excel but are not quite a big a geek as we are!

If you have a sequence of any sort, here’s a tip on how to quickly populate the cells on excel! It works for months, numbers, dates or any number that has a pattern!

Insert the first number, then hover over the cell right hand bottom corner until a black cross-hair appears, then click and drag down or across – hey presto! you’ve saved time!
